Welcome to the fourth installment of our Pool and Spa Trends series! If you’ve read the first three parts, you learned a lot about tanning ledges, cocktail tables and spools. And for those who haven’t been reading our series—where have you been? Fortunately, you can catch up on the first three parts by clicking on the links above.
For part four of our Pool and Spa Trends series, we turn our attention to in-floor cleaning systems. Such systems automatically clean the entirety of any swimming pool, including floors, steps and benches. In-floor cleaning systems are also effective in disinfecting spas. These systems are both cost-effective and eco-friendly in that they reduce heating and chemical costs.

Here’s a brief description of how in-floor cleaning systems work. First, rotating jets sweep away debris to be collected in the pool’s main drain. The drain then delivers the debris to a containment canister so that it can be conveniently collected for easy disposal. Other components of the Paramount PV3 provide additional anti-entrapment protection and remove any remaining particulates inside the pool. As a result, the water inside the pool is cleaner and safer to swim in.

Since 1964, Paramount Pool and Spa Systems has manufactured a wide range of in-floor cleaning systems and related products. Richard’s Total Backyard Solutions carries a Paramount PV3 in-floor pool cleaning and circulation system that cleans 99% of your swimming pool. The PV3 system features jets that clean your pool while you relax and then disappears when not in use. In short, Paramount’s in-floor cleaning system provides a low-maintenance approach to pool cleaning with no more cumbersome equipment to put away.

Richard’s TBS offers the Paramount PV3 for sale at our two store locations in North Houston and West Houston. If you’re interested in purchasing this in-floor cleaning system, keep in mind that this feature can only be installed on new swimming pools. The reason it can’t be installed during pool renovations or previously built pools is that the in-floor cleaning system is installed before the gunite is applied. If Richard’s is building a swimming pool for your home, be sure to let us know that you want a custom-designed Paramount PV3 system designed to fit your new pool.

Have we piqued your interest in in-floor cleaning systems? If you still need further convincing, we invite you to watch the video below. In the meantime, be on the lookout for part five of our Pool and Spa Trends series by continuing to read the Richard’s TBS blog!

“Buying a pool these days is like a vacation. It’s a book & plan-ahead process. But unlike a vacation…this investment doesn’t end!”
