RTBS Service Agreement
I authorize Richard’s Total Backyard Solutions (RTBS), or an independent service provider, to perform on-site equipment service and/or do installation service on my behalf. I acknowledge that my service agreement must be signed prior to service work being scheduled and no credit terms have been extended to me by RTBS.
Richard’s Endurance Lifetime Warranty Customer:
Please reference your signed Endurance Warranty documents to verify your service call fee as it varies by customer. I authorize and agree to pay the service call fee of:
- $79.00 Lifetime Warranty Service Call Fee (pools built before 1/1/16)
- $125.00 Lifetime Warranty Service Call Fee (pools built between 2016 – 10/20/2021)
- $149.00 Lifetime Warranty Service Call Fee (pools built after 10/20/2021)
As stated in my Richard’s Endurance Lifetime Warranty contract. Any items not covered under the Richard’s Endurance Lifetime Warranty will be required to be paid. If it is determined the item is covered under the Richard’s Endurance Lifetime Warranty, then only the service call fee will be required to be paid, unless the pool is still under its standard 2 year warranty for pools constructed before 1/1/16, or standard one year warranty for pools constructed after 1/1/16.
Manufacturer Warranty Repair Policy:
Pentair Warranty: RTBS will submit Pentair warranty calls directly to Pentair. Warranty work will be handled and covered directly with Pentair, if Pentair determines the part/product is not covered under warranty, the owner will be notified by Pentair.
Watkins (Hot Spring Spas) Warranty: RTBS technicians will perform warranty work on behalf of Watkins with a minimum trip charge of $139 in which I agree to pay. If the technician determines the part/product is not covered under warranty, the owner will be notified and will be responsible for any work done on the equipment.
Paramount/Other Warranty: RTBS technicians will perform warranty work on behalf of the owner of the equipment from the equipment manufacturer. I authorize and agree to pay a minimum trip charge of $139. If the manufacturer declines warranty payment to RTBS, I accept responsibility for all charges by RTBS for the service or installation work I have instructed RTBS to perform. I understand and acknowledge that any water related problems are not covered under any manufacturer’s warranty.
Non-Warranty Service Call:
I authorize and agree to pay the $249 service call and diagnostic fee that covers the first hour. After the first hour, it is an additional $125 per hour. I am aware the service call and diagnostic fees do not include parts. In the event I choose not to allow RTBS to complete the repair, I agree to pay for travel and diagnostic charges. (I acknowledge that a mechanics lien could be filed to secure the amount of the service call and/or diagnostic charges.)
